Popcorn Sales

This single event funds the bulk of our Scouting adventures, so your participation is key to making it a success.

Why Popcorn Sales Matter

  • Summer Camp: Camp is one of the biggest reasons Scouts join and stay in the program. Popcorn funds help cover camp fees, ensuring every Scout has the chance to attend.
  • Pack Events: This fundraiser supports activities like achievements, awards, campouts, Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Blue & Gold Banquet, and more — without increasing dues.
  • Life Skills: Selling popcorn builds goal setting, confidence, and salesmanship. Help your Scout set a target, practice their pitch, and get out there — people love to support Scouting!

Incentives & Rewards

Scouts earn points toward e-Gift Cards (Amazon, Target, Walmart, Prepaid Mastercard, and more) through the Trail’s End App.

Sell $500+ in ONE WEEK and you could WIN a Family 4-Pack Adventure!

How it works:

  1. Each Monday, every Scout who sold $500+ the prior week (Mon–Sun, 11:59 p.m., recorded in Trail’s End) is entered into a drawing.
  2. Winners pick from these adventures:
    • Andretti Indoor Karting (The Colony or Grand Prairie)
    • Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington)
    • Boulder Adventure Park (Grand Prairie)
    • Fritz’s Adventure (The Colony)
    • National Video Game Museum (Frisco)
    • COSM Dallas (Grandscape)
  3. Every $500+ week = another entry!

How to Participate

  1. Trail’s End Account:
    • Returning Scouts: Use your 2024 login.
    • New Scouts: Download the Trail’s End app (QR code in Parent Guide) and use Unit Code 4B57R.
    • Add your Scout’s bio & photos — it boosts sales!
  2. Online Sales: Start today! If you don’t register this week, I’ll send an invite to the email we have on file.
  3. Storefront Sales: Reserve a time that works best for you (mostly weekends + a few Fridays). If you’d like weekday spots, let me know.
  4. Wagon Sales: Door-to-door sales begin after our first popcorn pick-up. Let me know if you’d like to participate so I can coordinate popcorn distribution.
